The subjective fear of a possible contagion does not justify an absence from work. As long as there is no instruction from Public Health or the company that allows or obliges the worker to stay at her home, the absences could be considered unjustified.

If from Public Health a quarantine is imposed on a worker, the absence from work would be justified and the worker would be in a situation of temporary disability with benefits assimilated to professional contingencies.

If symptoms appear at home:

  • He will contact the health services by calling the Murcia Region Coronavirus Telephone 900121212. Emergency Telephone 112.
  • Any worker who presents symptoms compatible with the disease will not go to the workplace and will notify the company.
  • In any case, he will keep the company informed of developments.
  • All workers are advised to take their temperature every day. If he has a fever over 37 °, he will not go to work and will notify the company.

If symptoms appear at work:

  1. If a worker becomes ill while at work with the symptoms described above, he must report it immediately.
  2. He must also inform the company of the workers with whom he has been in contact.
  3. The company will inform the health authorities of the Region of Murcia by following their instructions at all times.

SYMPTOM.

Symptoms compatible with the coronavirus are: cough, fever (which may be mild), sore throat, nasal congestion, choking sensation, body aches, chills, loss of smell and taste, vomiting, diarrhea, dry eyes, blurred vision , pneumonia and respiratory syndrome.

Any worker who has been in contact, directly or indirectly, with a person who has manifested the symptoms, will notify the company immediately. PREVENTIVE MEASURES IMPLEMENTED

FACTORY:

  • The mask is mandatory from the moment you enter the company facilities.
  • Establishment of 2 work shifts for factory production workers (handling operators, warehouse waiters, carters and specific positions): one from 08:30 to 17:30, and another from 09:00 to 18:00 . Orientatively.
  • A thermal imaging camera has been installed to measure the temperature of all workers before the entry of each shift. If it is higher than 37 ° they will not be able to access their job. After a few minutes, a second measurement will be made in the first aid room, this with a laser thermometer and it will be sent home if they continue above 37 °.
  • Workers are advised to take their temperature before leaving home, instructing them not to come to work if it is higher than 37 °. In this case they have to call informing the company.
  • Fabrica has 4 lettuce handling lines. Being the priority to guarantee the safety distance of 2 meters between workers, in the positions where it is not possible to install canvas and polycarbonate spacers.
  • Displacements:
    • The workers of one of the shifts travel to the factory in their private vehicles.
    • On the other shift, some workers travel in private vehicles and others by bus. The driver of this has hydroalcoholic gel. Workers have to sanitize their hands before boarding the bus and make the journey with masks on.
    • You are not allowed to use the seat behind the bus driver.

  • Polycarbonate spacers have also been installed in the factory office.
  • Organization of work and common spaces in such a way as to reduce the number of exposed workers, establishing rules to avoid and reduce the frequency and type of person-to-person contact (bus, dining room, factory work lines, toilets, etc. ).
  • Dinning room:
    • Two meal shifts have been established: one from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., and another from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

    • A personal, non-transferable and numbered position has been assigned to each worker.
    • Automatic hydroalcoholic gel dispensers have been installed at the entrance and exit of the dining room.
  • The factory managers will organize the entry and exit of workers to ensure that the distance of 2 m is respected. in common areas and agglomerations (sinks, toilets, ticador, lockers, etc.). If necessary, it will be done in stages.
  • Access to the facilities by means of the fingerprint will not be operational temporarily, it will be done with a card.
  • The lockers in the workers’ access corridor have been disabled, to avoid crowds of workers, as it is a narrow area. Workers have been ordered to use the locker rooms in the dining area, which are located in a larger space.
  • The access doors of workers to the factory will be opened before they enter and leave each shift to promote ventilation, as well as at the entrance and exit of lunch and snacks.
  • The supply of hand sanitizer gel dispensers has been strengthened, placing them at key points such as gate, entry into the factory and office, expeditions, reception, etc.
  • The necessary PPE, mainly masks and gloves, have been delivered to all workers. They will be renewed as necessary.
  • It is not allowed to share food or drinks, especially those brought from home, or even to share tobacco with those who are smokers.
  • Training courses and meetings for a large number of people have been suspended.
  • Access to the facilities of external personnel such as customer visits, quality technicians, etc. has been regulated. through the implementation of specific protocols (see COVID visit protocol).
  • Carriers who access the facilities have been prohibited from getting off the truck during the process of loading or unloading merchandise. To this end, the entry control of non-company personnel has been reinforced and one more person has been incorporated at the gate to carry out these tasks exclusively. It also has a thermometer for taking temperature, in order, in case of having to take a measurement, discriminate access to people with feverish symptoms.
  • Unable to access external carriers, logistics and shipping operators will have to attach and remove the bars from the truck.
  • The company keeps the loading, unloading, shipping and logistics personnel informed and instructed at all times to avoid possible infections.
  • All the necessary means have been put in place so that workers where it is feasible can work from home (teleworking).
  • The cleaning equipment has been reinforced to disinfect common areas, toilets and dining room (before and after each shift, as well as lunch and snacks). There will be one person continuously on each shift and exclusively to disinfect the toilets, with emphasis on toilets, sinks, knobs and doors. For this, bleach and a bactericide are being used.
  • Disinfection of the different areas of the company both external (parking lot of the premises, corridors and passageways, stairs, pedestrian crossings, etc.) and internal (toilets, dining room, changing rooms, corridors, factory office, labels and shipments, and production area: It will be done by spraying with a backpack for the interior areas and with a tank and a tractor for the exterior areas, of a disinfectant product diluted in water.
  • Adopt, where appropriate, specific measures for particularly sensitive workers, such as pregnant women, who have been identified. As soon as the first case is detected in the company, access by said sensitive people will be prevented.

MEASURES IMPLEMENTED FOR LOADING AND UNLOADING DRIVERS, OUTSIDE THE COMPANY:

  • Control of entry of non-company personnel is reinforced. One more person has been incorporated into the goal to perform these tasks exclusively.
  • External carriers who come to our facilities for loading and unloading are prohibited from getting off the truck. In case they have to do so, a temperature measurement will be taken, with prior authorization, in such a way that the company reserves the right of admission if it exceeds 37 °, or when the affected party refuses the authorization to take it.
  • Access to our production facilities is strictly prohibited.

FIELD.

Agricultural workers have been given the following indications:

    • On the planting platforms, free seats will be left.
    • On the collection platforms. Placement of workers on both sides of the aerial in zigzag, widening the separation between them.

  • Displacements:

    • They will be governed at all times by the regional or national regulation that is applicable at all times.

ADMINISTRATION AND COMMERCIAL DEPARTMENT:

  • The mask is mandatory from the moment you enter the company facilities.
  • Teleworking has been launched as a priority. There is also the option of incorporating these workers to their position, depending on the needs of the company, as long as the maximum occupancy of each department is not exceeded 50%.
  • The supply of hand sanitizer gel dispensers at reception has been reinforced.
  • Informational posters have been placed in the toilets.
  • Disinfection of the access and stairs of the administration office. It will be done by spraying with a backpack and / or with a tank and a tractor for the outdoor areas of a disinfectant product diluted in water.
  • Access to the facilities of external personnel such as customer visits, quality technicians, etc. has been regulated. through the implementation of specific protocols (see COVID visit protocol).
  • Visits that are essential will be analyzed on a case-by-case basis. In this case, a health questionnaire has been implemented at reception that incorporates a temperature measurement, with prior authorization (the reception has been provided with a thermometer).
  • Gloves have been delivered to the reception office.
  • Displacements:
    • They will be governed at all times by the regional or national regulation that is applicable at all times.

GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS

HOW TO PUT ON, USE AND REMOVE A MASK

  1. Before touching the mask, wash your hands with an alcohol-based disinfectant or soap and water.
  2. Inspect the mask for tears or holes.
